The Legacy of (In)humanity
We often don’t appreciate the gravity of a situation, until we run the risk of losing what is most important to us – our children. This painting addresses human dominance over nature and explores possible consequences of this imbalance, symbolized by the Omega sign on the girl’s armband. The innocent child in this painting is left with the post-apocalyptic Legacy of (In)Humanity, depending on the oxygen supply of the last plant on earth.

我们总是不在乎一件事情的严重性，直到我们发现可能会失去对我们最重要的我们的孩子们。这幅画传递的信息是，人类主宰自然，探索不平衡带来的各种恶果，这些被符号化为女孩袖章上的欧米加标志。画中这个天真的孩子只能与末世纪反人类的传说一起，指望着地球上最后一棵植物供给的氧气。
